I'm Amanda and I’m passionate about creating a well loved and well lived in home for my family and I Iove to help others do the same!
The girls have been asking to have a fall campfire ever since the air turned colder here a few weeks ago! So on a nice crisp afternoon, I set up a surprise fall campfire party for them. It was quick and easy and you could throw it together with things you already own. I bought the girls a few new things to make it extra special though!

Then I set their places at the table with some cute plates and some new Happy Camper mugs as well as glow sticks and sparklers (from the dollar store)! Outside I threw some fuzzy plaid blankets over the
Mark started the fire in the outdoor fire pit, although sometimes we just roast the marshmallows over the fire table we have set up on the back deck if we want a quick fix! And this is a great option if you don’t have a large yard or a firepit!

When the fire was ready the girls roasted their marshmallows and ate their s’mores as the sun set!
Then after dark, we went for a walk through the woods before bed. The girls love taking glow sticks or flashlights into the woods at night. Our property is fully fenced and there is a path cut around the edge of the property so they can’t get lost, but they still like to take Ollie with them!
Even though it only took a few minutes to set up this fall campfire night, the girls felt like they had a party and we had some quality family time! For more fall inspiration, check out:
