These simple Cherry Ningxia Creamsicles are not only fruity and delicious, but they are packed with superfoods and antioxidant goodness! My girls love these and I love that they are getting a healthy treat that isn’t full of high fructose corn syrup or artificial flavors. They are easy to make and provide a refreshing boost of energy on a hot day!

Before we get started creating yummy creamsicles, you might be wondering…. what exactly is Ningxia Red?
“NingXia Red® is a delicious drink that contains whole Ningxia wolfberry puree: a super blend of blueberry, aronia, cherry, pomegranate, and plum juices. It also contains natural stevia, grape seed, and pure vanilla extracts as well as orange, yuzu, lemon, and tangerine essential oils. NingXia Red provides a whole-body nutrient infusion.”Young Living
So now that we know exactly what NingXia Red is, here are the rest of the ingredients that you will need!
I like to use fresh cherries for this recipe, but frozen will do (just thaw completely before using). These are Okanagan cherries and they are sooo good! Every summer when we visit the Okanagan we make sure we bring back tons of fresh fruit to use in jams, frozen treats and baking!
Cherries are a source of vitamin C, potassium, fiber, and other nutrients that your body needs to function optimally. They are also packed with antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds, which combat oxidative stress and fight cellular damage. And they have been shown to boost heart health, reduce symptoms of arthritis and gout, act as a sleep aid, and speed recovery after exercise!
The next ingredient on the list is Ningxia Red. (See the top of this post if you missed reading about why it’s so good). If you don’t have any you can use whatever fruit juice you have on hand!
The rest of the ingredients are very simple…plain greek yogurt, whipping cream and honey! If you want to add a little twist you can also gather some vanilla or some lemon zest or Lemon Vitality Essential Oil! There will be an option to turn these into Cherry Vanilla or Cherry Lemon Creamsicles!
We are going to make 2 layers for our Cherry Ningxia Creamsicles…one plain and one cherry blend!
Make the plain yogurt blend first (then you don’t have to clean out the blender). This is where you can add 1 Tsp vanilla or 1 Tsp lemon zest or 1 drop Lemon Vitality Essential oil if you’d like to add a flavour twist! (See recipe for measurements).
Next, we’ll make the cherry yogurt blend! Wash the cherries well and remove the stems and pits.
Chop 2/3 of the cherries in half and finely chop the remaining 1/3 to use as bite-size pieces that you will drop into the molds!
Now make the cherry blend with the chopped cherries, remaining yogurt, cream, and honey and add Ningxia Red for a super antioxidant boost. Blend well and set aside!
Pour the plain yogurt blend into the bottom third of the popsicle molds and drop in cherry pieces. Push down with an extra popsicle stick to distribute evenly!
Then top with the cherry yogurt blend and insert popsicle sticks.
TIP: If you wet the sticks before you put them in it will help them stay standing straight up!
Freeze for 6-8 hrs (overnight is best) and enjoy!!

I find that I don’t get the shakes, the anxiety, or the energy highs and lows that I did with caffeine. There are so many ways to incorporate this super supplement into your daily routine!
HOT FLASH SHOT: 2 oz of NingXia Red + 1 drop Cinnamon Vitality Oil+ 1 drop Peppermint Vitality Oil.
SMOOTHIE BOWL: ½ Cup Plain Greek Yogurt + ¼ Cup Strawberries + ¼ Cup Blueberries + 1 ¼ Tsp Honey + 2 oz Ningxia Red. Stir together! Add granola to the top!
SUMMER DREAMIN‘ SHOT: 2 oz of Ningxia Red + 1 drop each of Orange, Lemon, and Lime Vitality Oils.
NINGXIA SPRITZER: 2 oz of Ningxia Red + 2 oz of club soda + 1 drop Orange Vitality Oil. Serve over ice!
NINGXIA SMOOTHIE: 1 Cup plain kefir/yogurt + 2oz Ningxia Red + 1 Multigreens capsule + 2 Tbsp Elderberry syrup + 1 cup frozen fruit + 1 Cup Orange Juice. Blend and enjoy!
