Enjoy the sunshine, sparkling water, ice cream, sandy toes and backyard bbqs…here are some sizzling summer essential oil ideas to help you make the most of the season!

Summer beauty for me is all about simplicity! I want to be able to get ready and get out the door in under 5 minutes without heavy makeup or a time consuming beauty routine. Here are some simple summer beauty recipes that are easy, effective and good for you!
RECIPE:
Fill a 4 oz spray bottle 1/2 with water and 1/2 with witch hazel then add essential oils. Shake and spray!
RECIPE:
Combine coconut oil and shea butter in a small pot on medium heat. Once melted remove from heat and add essential oils. Let cool in fridge 30-45 mins until mixture is no longer clear and has soft texture. Whip in stand mixer for 2-3 minutes until it looks like foam and peaks form. Store in a glass jar at room temp.
RECIPE:
Mix sea salt, witch hazel & water in an empty glass spray bottle. Then add essential oils. Shake vigorously then lightly spray on wet hair. Dry and style hair as normal.
There’s nothing better than a day at the beach…sun, sand and water, who could ask for more! Here are a few recipes for everything you need to pack in your beach bag this summer for a day spent splashing in the waves!
RECIPE:
Add essential oils to a 1oz bottle. Fill with distilled water.
Shake and spray!
RECIPE:
Add oils to 2 oz. spray bottle, fill 1/2 bottle with witch hazel and 1/2 with water, shake well before spritzing!
Since this is a natural spray you will have to apply every hour or so. I don’t mind as it makes us smell lemony and it’s a refreshing spritzer!
To alter the recipe for littles try…3 drops each Citronella, Purification and Lavender!
RECIPE:
*Add lavender, geranium, frankincense, carrot seed, or whatever you prefer for your skin type!
Add blush & bronzer into a dropper bottle or roller bottle with jojoba oil and shake. Add oils and mix. Apply on skin for a sun-kissed look.
A few other things I like to bring along to the beach:
Did you know that essential oils can be used in the kitchen? I love to add a drop of Lemon Vitality oil to my water in the morning or Peppermint to a pan of delicious brownies! Here are a few more of my favourite essential oil infused summer treats!
RECIPE:
Blend everything together then pick Some add-ins:
FOOD ADD-INS: chia seeds, coconut oil, almond butter or flax seeds
SUPPLEMENT/OIL ADD-INS: Life-9 Probiotic or MightyPro Kids Probiotic, Multigreens, or vitality oils! I love Peppermint Vitality with the Chocolate Pure Protein or Citrus Vitality Oil in the summer!
RECIPE:
Fill popsicle molds with equal parts NingXia Red and Lemonade. Add a drop of Citrus Fresh vitality oil and top with Zyng! Freeze and enjoy!

RECIPE:
2 capsules of Multigreens emptied
2 frozen bananas
1 ½ cup non-dairy milk
2 Tbsp peanut butter
Any green, leafy veggie we have in the fridge/freezer like kale or spinach
1 tbsp cacao powder (optional)
1 tsp vanilla
Blend well and enjoy!

These are a few of my favourite DIYs to add as well…
