Summer beauty for me is all about simplicity! I want to be able to get ready and get out the door in under 5 minutes without heavy makeup or a time consuming beauty routine. Here are some simple summer beauty recipes that are easy, effective and good for you!
Fill a 4 oz spray bottle 1/2 with water and 1/2 with witch hazel then add essential oils. Shake and spray!
Combine coconut oil and shea butter in a small pot on medium heat. Once melted remove from heat and add essential oils. Let cool in fridge 30-45 mins until mixture is no longer clear and has soft texture. Whip in stand mixer for 2-3 minutes until it looks like foam and peaks form. Store in a glass jar at room temp.
Mix sea salt, witch hazel & water in an empty glass spray bottle. Then add essential oils. Shake vigorously then lightly spray on wet hair. Dry and style hair as normal.
There’s nothing better than a day at the beach…sun, sand and water, who could ask for more! Here are a few recipes for everything you need to pack in your beach bag this summer for a day spent splashing in the waves!
Add essential oils to a 1oz bottle. Fill with distilled water.
Shake and spray!
Add oils to 2 oz. spray bottle, fill 1/2 bottle with witch hazel and 1/2 with water, shake well before spritzing!
Since this is a natural spray you will have to apply every hour or so. I don’t mind as it makes us smell lemony and it’s a refreshing spritzer!
To alter the recipe for littles try…3 drops each Citronella, Purification and Lavender!
*Add lavender, geranium, frankincense, carrot seed, or whatever you prefer for your skin type!
Add blush & bronzer into a dropper bottle or roller bottle with jojoba oil and shake. Add oils and mix. Apply on skin for a sun-kissed look.
