Hi and welcome! I’m Amanda and I’m so glad you’re here! I started The Ginger Home in 2018 as a creative outlet for my love of all things home. My husband Mark and I have been slowly renovating our small country house in Alberta, Canada over the past 10 years. We’ve become experts at dreaming up creative home decor DIYs to achieve designer style on a budget. I’m passionate about creating a well loved and well lived in home for my family and I love helping others do the same!

The Ginger Home is situated on 4 acres just outside Beaumont, Alberta in Western Canada. Mark was born and raised in Alberta, and Amanda moved to the province to attend the University of Alberta!
