Hi and welcome! I’m Amanda and I’m so glad you’re here! I started The Ginger Home in 2018 as a creative outlet for my love of all things home. My husband Mark and I have been slowly renovating our small country house in Alberta, Canada over the past 10 years. We’ve become experts at dreaming up creative DIYs to achieve designer style on a budget. I’m passionate about creating a well loved and well lived in home for my family and I love helping others do the same!

The Ginger Home was named for the two little gingers in the house that run the show! And Mark, AKA Mr. Ginger Home, turns all of Amanda’s design dreams into reality. He is one handy guy. Look for “Monday’s with Mark” on The Ginger Home Instagram stories every Monday for DIY tips!

The Family

Ollie is a lemon beagle with a penchant for stealing underwear and hunting bugs. He joined The Ginger Home in 2018 and has been a source of endless entertainment ever since. The minis adore him. We all do.
